RAFA Chingford  ethos is to honour  comrades  regardless of rank or length of  service.  Where the RAF veteran and /or family  next of kin request  ceremonial participation as a mark of respect  we are available to discuss funeral planning arrangements  at any time.  We can also coordinate with the nominated Funeral Directors and Celebrants.

RAFA can advise on Order of Service readings, prayers and hymns that reflect RAF service.

RAFA Ceremonial Honour guards and ceremonial Standard Bearers  are  volunteers  and priority in the first instance is accorded to RAFA Chingford branch members, RAF veterans who reside in the Chingford area or have a link to the area.

 

Whilst RAFA Chingford will always endeavour to be present when requested, availability is dependent upon commitments.. Our Standard Bearers are frequently called upon as a presence at Armed Forces National Commemorative events  or in other geographical areas for example.
