N.F. Enders (1925-2023) who passed away in April 2023 was not only a Honorary member of RAFA Chingford branch he served overseas in World War 2 in Africa and, but for the then unexpected abrupt end to the war in The Far East in August 1945 with the Aromic Bomb strikes on Japan he was slated for front line operational Fighter-Bomber service with South Asia Command on Republic P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft.
